1980s TV Character

Although the term "movie of the week" can be used in a generic sense, this tournament pertained only to made-for-TV films broadcast as part of the ABC Movie of the Week and the ABC Movie of the Weekend in the late 1960s and the 1970s.

12 Angry Men was deemed a courtroom movie because the jury's deliberation recounts much of what happened during the trial in the courtroom. As for To Kill a Mockingbird, even though the courtroom scenes comprise only part of the plot, they play a significant role in the film's themes.
